Cabinet Designer
Working on the canvas
Click a cabinet or wall to select it, then edit it in the details panel - a cabinet can be renamed, resized, duplicated, or deleted there; a wall can be renamed, resized, or deleted. This works in Elevation and on the Floor plan. The 3D view is look-only: drag to orbit and scroll to zoom.
The Floor plan does more: it is the only view where you can select and move islands, drag things along or between walls, hold Shift and drag an empty area to select several at once, copy and paste, nudge with the arrow keys, and rotate an island. Right-click a cabinet or island there for copy, paste, and more. Double-click a cabinet in Elevation or on the Floor plan to edit it in the Elevation view.
Made a mistake? Undo (Ctrl+Z) reverses adding, deleting, and moving things - in every view. Redo is Ctrl+Shift+Z.
Drag an empty area, scroll, or swipe to move the drawing in any direction, at any zoom, so nothing stays hidden behind a panel. Right-drag moves the drawing too. Pinch or hold Ctrl and scroll to zoom, or use the plus and minus buttons on the canvas. When you have something selected, Zoom to selection frames it.
Every label sits on top of the thing it names. Drag any label to move it, including the wall names. Double-click a label to snap it back. Moving a label never changes a size.
If you drag a label away from its box, a thin dashed line connects it back to the box it belongs to, so you never lose track of which label goes where.
